Mayo Clinic Health System in NWWI supports multi-agency resource event
Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wisconsin recently contributed $5,000 to support the Barron County Centerpoint event in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This multi-agency resource event is a collaborative effort organized by the Barron County Community Connections to Prosperity coalition. Held four times per year, this event brings together over 30 community agencies under one roof to provide essential services to residents in need. The most recent event took place on Feb. 7 and served over 150 people by providing housing assistance, food, clothing, hygiene products, medical care, financial aid, employment support, free haircuts and more. Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wisconsin’s contribution will help pay for Somali and Spanish interpreters and hygiene products at all four events.
