Mayo Clinic Health System in NWWI staff volunteer at United Way Day of Caring
Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wisconsin (MCHS in NWWI) staff recently participated in the United Way’s Day of Caring events in Chippewa Falls and Menomonie, Wisconsin. The United Way focuses on supporting education, health, financial stability and meeting basic needs, which it recognizes are essential to a good quality of life. More than 30 staff members volunteered to help local nonprofits complete important projects, increasing these organizations’ flexibility and resourcing to continue serving their clients. The MCHS in NWWI United Way Committee collaborated with the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley and the United Way of St. Croix and Red Cedar Valley to recruit and schedule MCHS staff volunteers.
