La Crosse Area Techquity event connects community to patient portal

On Wednesday, Techquity Wisconsin and Great Rivers United Way offered no-cost laptops, how-to guides and tech support for low-income residents in the La Crosse area. The event distributed 50 laptops. Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) also participated to help recipients set up their patient portals, show them how to use Primary Care On Demand, and how to navigate to Find Help. Patients can use these tools to better manage their health by keeping track of their medical history, medications and treatment plans.
