Mayo Clinic invests more than $1.2 Million in community grants in the first quarter of 2025

Mayo Clinic is pleased to support many community organizations and initiatives thus far in 2025. Through February, Mayo Clinic’s Community Contributions Program granted more than $1.2 million to strengthen community vibrancy, including programs for safe and affordable housing, access to healthy food, quality education and youth enrichment, healthcare access, mental health and substance use counseling, economic development, civic infrastructure, a healthy environment, and arts and cultural centers that inspire, build understanding and belonging for all residents. Highlights include:

Ability Building Community to support programs for adults with disabilities.

Alliance of Chicanos Hispanics and Latin Americans to support their Pata de Perro Bike Club, which recycles bicycles to give to area youth and adults in need.

American Red Cross to strengthen local disaster relief resources.

ARC Minnesota Inc. to support self-advocacy programs for residents with disabilities.  

Celebration of a City to help sponsor 2025 Rochesterfest festivities.

Channel One Regional Food Bank and Food Shelf to help reduce food insecurity for residents.

Collider Foundation to provide mentoring services for entrepreneurs to promote a vibrant local economy.

Community Food Response Inc. to help rescue and redistribute food from area restaurants and cafeterias to people in need.   

EarthFest to support their 2025 event celebrating local environmental sustainability efforts.

Elder Network to support services that help older residents remain independent, safe and healthy.

Girls on the Run Minnesota to expand health and mentorship programs for girls.  

Goodwill Industries to support employment readiness and placement programs for people with diagnosed mental illnesses.

Greater Rochester Area Dakota Supporters to support student graduation and community events celebrating Dakota history and culture.

Honors Choirs of Southeast Minnesota to support choral youth enrichment programs.

Jeremiah Program to help single parent families end the cycle of poverty.

Med City Arts Festival to help sponsor their 2025 event in Rochester.

Minnesota Council of Nonprofits to strengthen resources for non-profits serving Minnesota communities.

Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies to support nutrition efforts for area parents and babies.

Minnesota Special Olympics to celebrate athletic participation and achievement among people with disabilities.

Philoxenia Charities to help establish safe housing resources for people undergoing or recovering from medical care and who are experiencing homelessness.

Recovery is Happening to support the Emergency Department Peer Support initiative, connecting emergency care peers with patients experiencing substance use crises at Saint Marys Hospital.

Resounding Voices to provide choral arts enrichment to people experiencing mild cognitive impairment or dementia and their support partners.

Rochester Area Foundation for their services supporting the Rochester community.  

Rochester Art Center to help sponsor 2025 art exhibits to enrich residents and visitors.

Rochester Chinese School to help sponsor the 2025 Chinese New Year celebration.

Rochester Downtown Alliance to support vibrancy, safety and economic development in downtown Rochester.

Rochester Police Department to help sponsor Safe City Nights in 2025
