Mayo Clinic in Arizona staff attend Scottsdale Juneteenth celebration

Mayo Clinic in Arizona was a presenting sponsor of the City of Scottsdale Community Juneteenth Celebration, which was held on June 15. Thirty Mayo Clinic employees volunteered at the event to staff a booth and facilitate a forum to discuss economic development, health and wellness and educational opportunities for the Black community. Over 1,000 community members attended the family-friendly event. The Coalition of Blacks Against Cancer also held its June meeting at the celebration, where Cassandra Moore, M.D., Hematology/Oncology, and Marion Kelly, manager, Community Relations, gave presentations on prostate cancer and men’s health.
