La Crosse Compass Now holds stakeholder meeting, evaluates community health needs

The La Crosse County Compass Now stakeholder meeting was held on Mar. 13 to discuss and prioritize key community health issues. Mayo Clinic Health System in Southwest Wisconsin (MCHS in SWWI) hosted the meeting in partnership with Great Rivers United Way, Gundersen Health System and the La Crosse County Health Department. Over 50 local representatives from the government, healthcare, education and nonprofit sectors attended. Compass Now is a triennial collaborative community health needs assessment group that evaluates seven Southwest Wisconsin counties’ health needs. This assessment plays a crucial role in understanding the region’s health landscape and shaping strategies to enhance community health.
