This community story, which was reported by the Rochester Post Bulletin, brings light on how local services and community organizations are coming together to help the immigrant Latino community during COVID-19. One example of community organizations such as the Meadow Park Initiative ran a popup food pantry at Friendship Park. The Meadow Park Initiative is joined forces with Family Service Rochester, United Way of Olmsted County and the Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association to help families meet basic needs.
