Mayo Clinic will match up to $20,000 in red kettle donations in Olmsted County this weekend, Dec. 21-22. Mayo Clinic Health System — Franciscan Healthcare will match red kettle donations in La Crosse, Wisconsin, up to $15,000 on Saturday, Dec. 21.
When you give to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign this weekend, Dec. 21-22, Mayo Clinic will match your donations up to $20,000 to help the Salvation Army reach its 2018 campaign goal.
For more than 150 years, the Rochester Salvation Army has helped its neighbors during the holidays.
For the past several years, Mayo Clinic has given a “Seasons of Giving” grant to the Salvation Army in Rochester, Minnesota, to support those most in need at the holidays.
“By contributing to the Salvation Army, Mayo Clinic is helping bring hope and to meet the needs to so many,” sayes Major Robert Mueller, Corps Officer at the Rochester Salvation Army.
By the numbers, this is how the Salvation Army and Mayo Clinic are helping those in need:
- 1,570 Volunteers
- 5,000 hours of bell ringing
- 530 families served
- 1,500 kids in need receiving presents
“When you give at the red kettles this Christmas, you’re giving help and hope for the holidays,” Major Mueller says.
