Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) in Albert Lea and Austin, Minnesota’s Rehab Services staff members recently sponsored a household supply drive for families moving into a new affordable housing project. MCHS’ Rehab Services staff recognized the increasing financial pressures many families face and wanted to help ease the burden by purchasing basic living necessities for the new residents. They collected everyday items such as cleaning supplies, toiletries and kitchen essentials, which, although are often overlooked, are vital to maintaining healthy and safe home environments.
