For the second year, Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) in Albert Lea and Austin, Minnesota was proud to participate in the Pride Festival in Albert Lea, which was held on June 15. The MCHS employees who volunteered at the booth embraced the fun, wore Pride t-shirts and handed out colorful pins and beads. They helped educate attendees on finding care and emphasized that MCHS welcomes everyone. They distributed informational materials for those with questions about the LBGTQIA+ community and, most significantly, made everyone feel important.  By welcoming everyone, MCHS is committed to being a safe and inclusive place to receive care.
