We know our patients’ health and well-being are influenced not only by the care we provide, but also by the health of the communities in which they live, work, and raise families. We are pleased to consider requests benefiting communities where Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare provides services, and nearby areas (see map).

To request support for your nonprofit endeavor, please review the information below carefully and choose the appropriate application form in the box at the top right corner of this page.

Criteria:

Requests must align with Mayo Clinic’s mission and values.

Priority will be given to requests seeking to address these priority health needs:

Region Wide:

1. Access to Mental Health Care
2. Alcohol and Drug Use/Misuse
3. COVID-19 (urgent concerns)

Additionally, in La Crosse County:

1. Well-being of at-risk Children and Youth

Additionally, in Monroe County:

1. Food Insecurity

Because our resources are limited, we are not able to consider requests to support:

1. The needs or goals of individuals or small groups (in-kind donations such as door prizes or auction items may be provided, as appropriate) 
2. Organizations with little or no presence in our service area
3. Ongoing operations, rather than specific programs
4. Budget shortfalls 

Please submit your request as early as possible to ensure we can meet your deadline. Applications are reviewed as follows:

1. Monroe County Requests:
   • Up to $500 – reviewed bi-weekly
   • Over $500 – reviewed bi-monthly
2. All Other Requests:
   • Up to $1,000 – reviewed bi-weekly
   • Over $1,000 – reviewed quarterly (January, April, July and October). Requests must be submitted by the first day of the month in which they are reviewed.
